Sunday Nov. 18th is Spring Creek Chapter of TU's annual Spring Creek redd count, meeting at Spring Creek Park in Lemont @ 10:00 AM. This year promises to be a challenge to say the least, with high winds brining down more dead ash trees and the excessive high water it will be hard to see all the redds that are normally easy to see. As soon as I get the results I'll make sure that I post them- hope for no more hard rain. Heavens knows the leaf flush has already happened and all should be good to go.
I have you ever noticed when you fish an area that you fished years ago so how it seems smaller that before. I remember that even with Scott 904's some areas on Penn's seemed to be hard to cast to but now it seems easier, I think a lot has to do with the quality of lines we are using now? Anyone else have the same observation?
