Love them or Hate them?

You either love squirmey worms or hate them, or deny ever using one? Well I use them at times during very high water and give a lot of them away. Guess what I found at 5 Below a small take out box filled with them for a few bucks!
The box had pink, blue, yellow, green and dark yellow/tan in ot, you can tie a ton of them from this box. Spring Creek is fishing very well wih BWO's and #22/24 black midges on top and small PT's under the surface. A new item to try is tying a #22/24 stripped natural peacock quill with a black fur head, like you tie a brassie and cover the body with UV cure. I attach this to the down winged midge on top with 6-8" of 7x tippet and watch the top fly to see if it moves, it can be deadly BUT make sure your in the correct position to have the light at the right angle to you so you can see the take, it is really delicate! Fishing Creek is still cold and Penn's is on the fall and should be just about right to do a day of bottom bouncing. Go out and enjoy
