Too Much Love
Ok maybe I am slipping in my old age but Penns at Johnson's is just getting too much love, heck last night there was "6" guys in the pool & riffle. The "2" guys in the riffle fishing nymphs looked as if they really know what they are doing and by their use of landing nets they were catching fish while the rest of us were just looking and nothing but chubs were looking up. But to be fair they really was nothing coming off or falling on the water, I wonder if the trout there are becoming like the Spring Creek trout- night feeders. This happens in very heavy fishing waters and it has happened in some locations in our area, with no rest the fish become more wary than normal and the chubs take over feeding during the hours when we are there, ok lets try morning as see what is going on if that does not work lets try another section of the stream- more to follow.
